Le Ptit Bar
The "Ptit bar" is an institution in the eleventh arrondissement of Paris.
An unrealistic bar : tiny, 9 m2 with just enough place to put three bar stools, intact like 50 years ago , an old cat on a leash at the door and the most surprising, a bar run by a woman over 80 years !
When you walk into the bar, the first thing the bar tender tell you is to close the door not the cat escape.
Perhaps the smallest and oldest autentic bar in Paris. The cheapest bear in the city.
With a little luck, Mrs. Paulo, the bar owner, will sort the books she just bought and she will start a great conversation about books.
Experience to do so soon , before the bar do no longer exist .
The little bar
7 rue Richard Lenoir ,
75011 Paris
Open every day until 2am
The secret garden lovers
Here is an address that very few Parisians know.
In the Faculty of Pharmacy of Paris lies a lovely botanical garden.
Established in 1884, it still has a pedagogical purpose: to allow pharmacy students to learn the names and recognize the medicinal and poisonous plants.
But the garden is open to the general public! A very good idea to bring a couple vote in a quiet, unusual and romantic.
Stroll hand in hand through the 400 species of this garden like no other, and end by asking you on the stone bench in the garden.
This beautiful garden open to the public, by appointment every Thursday afternoon from 14 am to 16 pm for guided tours
To go there : in front the 4 Avenue de l'Observatoire, follow the driveway and turn left.
Address: 4 Avenue de l'Observatoire, 75005 Paris
Public transportation RER: Port Royal
